Vaccines as Biological Weapons? Live Avian Flu Virus Placed in Baxter Vaccine Materials Sent to 18 Countries

There’s a popular medical thriller novel in which a global pandemic is intentionally set off by an evil plot designed to reduce the human population. In the book, a nefarious drug company inserts live avian flu viruses into vaccine materials that are distributed to countries around the world to be injected into patients as "flu shots." Those patients then become carriers for these highly-virulent strains of avian flu which go on to infect the world population and cause widespread death.
One of the major global pharmaceutical players seems to have lost control over a virus which is considered by many virologists to be one of the components leading some day to a new pandemic.
There’s only one problem with this story: It’s not fiction. Or, at least, the part about live avian flu viruses being inserted into vaccine materials isn’t fiction. It’s happening right now.
Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmaceutical company Baxter International Inc. has just been caught shipping live avian flu viruses mixed with vaccine material to medical distributors in 18 countries. The "mistake" (if you can call it that, see below…) was discovered by the National Microbiology Laboratory in Canada. The World Health Organization was alerted and panic spread throughout the vaccine community as health experts asked the obvious question: How could this have happened?
"Baxter International Inc. in Austria ‘unintentionally contaminated samples with the bird flu virus that were used in laboratories in 3 neighbouring countries, raising concern about the potential spread of the deadly disease’. Austria, Germany, Slowenia and the Czech Republic - these are the countries in which labs were hit with dangerous viruses. Not by bioterrorist commandos, but by Baxter. In other words: One of the major global pharmaceutical players seems to have lost control over a virus which is considered by many virologists to be one of the components leading some day to a new pandemic."
Or, put another way, Baxter is acting a whole lot like a biological terrorism organization these days, sending deadly viral samples around the world. If you mail an envelope full of anthrax to your Senator, you get arrested as a terrorist. So why is Baxter — which mailed samples of a far more deadly viral strain to labs around the world — getting away with saying, essentially, "Oops?"
But there’s a bigger question in all this: How could this company have accidentally mixed LIVE avian flu viruses (both H5N1 and H3N2, the human form) in this vaccine material?
Was the viral contamination intentional?
The shocking answer is that this couldn’t have been an accident. Why? Because Baxter International adheres to something called BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) — a set of laboratory safety protocols that prevent the cross-contamination of materials.
"Laboratory personnel have specific training in handling pathogenic and potentially lethal agents, and are supervised by competent scientists who are experienced in working with these agents. This is considered a neutral or warm zone. All procedures involving the manipulation of infectious materials are conducted within biological safety cabinets or other physical containment devices, or by personnel wearing appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment. The laboratory has special engineering and design features."

Ja jako przyszły "Lekarski morderca" jestem umiarkowanie nastawiony do szczepień. Bo z jednej strony nie da się zaprzeczyć że ospa została w większości wyeliminowana z naszego społeczeństwa własnie dzięki szczepieniom. Z drugiej strony raczej nie namawiam do szczepieniom przeciwko grypie nie ze względu na te straszne substancje ktore podobno maja nam tak szkodzić bardziej dlatego, że to loteria czy szczepionka na grypę zadziała bo nie ma pewności jaki szczep cie zainfekuje, na moje to tylko sposób zarobku farmaceutów. Dziękuję P

Thousands of veterans who underwent certain routine medical procedures at Miami’s VA Medical Center are at risk of being infected with hepatitis or HIV, the hospital announced Monday.
The revelation drew intense criticism from South Florida congressmen and the concern of veterans who hope a visit to the government-run health center has not compromised their health.
At the center of the fears are water pumps that are regularly used during colonoscopies and gastrointestinal procedures, said John Vara, the Miami VA’s chief of staff. The hospital discovered March 4 that the pumps — which are attached to the tubes used in the procedures — were being rinsed but not disinfected. This, Vara said, creates the slight chance that back-flow from the pumps could lead to serious or potentially deadly infections.
The pumps do not come into direct contact with the patient, Vara said. Though the risk of infection is low, he added that “any risk is unacceptable.”
Colonoscopies — the visual inspection of the colon through a tube — and other gastrointestinal tests are regularly performed at the VA. About 3,260 veterans underwent the procedures, primarily colonoscopies, involving this type of water pump since May 2004.
The VA has sent letters to about 2,500 of the veterans, who are still in the area, urging them to get blood tests.
Officials were trying to locate the other 700.
The medical center notified U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, D-Miami, Monday morning. After sending letters to Secretary of Veteran Affairs Eric Shinseki and Inspector General George Opfer, Meek said he was startled to learn that the situation in Miami was not unique.
In February, about 6,400 veterans at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., were urged to get blood tests after the VA discovered there had been improper handling of equipment used for colonoscopies.
And in Augusta, Ga., more than 1,800 veterans were notified that instruments used to examine the ear, nose and throat had not been properly disinfected.
None of these incidents is known to have caused infection, but such revelations can lead veterans to distrust the medical system, said David Williams, a retired Marine who lives in Miami Springs.
”I’ve already served in Vietnam and have had to fight over my benefits,” said Williams, 64, who underwent a procedure using the water pump at the VA last year. “And now, here comes this mess on top of that. Boy, oh, boy, what’s going to happen next before someone realizes that they have made more mistakes?”
The discovery of the improper cleanings is the result of a national program to standardize medical procedures across VA hospitals, Jim Benson, a spokesman for the Department of Veterans Affairs, told The Miami Herald. The program was known as “Step-Up.”
After learning of the problem, three South Florida congressmen encouraged the VA to step up even more. Meek asked the Miami VA to call and knock on doors of veterans who had undergone the procedures.
”It’s the least they could do for men and women in uniform,” Meek said.
Calling the situation ”outrageous and unacceptable,” Rep. Ron Klein, D-Boca Raton, asked for an immediate investigation into why proper medical procedures were not followed.
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Miami, said “all necessary action should be taken to ensure that all veterans are made whole and this disaster never repeats itself.”

78 percent of Pakistani children with polio were given polio vaccines
(NaturalNews) In the last year, as Pakistan has lost favor with the US and UNICEF, polio virus has paralyzed increasing numbers of Pakistani youth, casting doubt on the good intentions of those who fight polio. To make matters worse, most of the new cases have occurred in children already vaccinated. Is the US attempting to fight Pakistan by tainting inoculation doses?
The medical data suggests that the vaccine has changed in its efficacy against the disease. Last year, there were 136 cases of infected youth, and 107 of these had been administered multiple polio vaccinations. These figures are the largest the Polio Global Eradication Initiative has seen since 2006, despite heavy treatment in the most affected areas, South Punjab and the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).
Even the more peaceful provinces have suffered. As reported by the Pakistan Daily times, there were 10 cases of polio in Sindh province in the first four months of the year. The article morbidly notes each of the cases, citing the children's names and the number of vaccinations they had received before the onset of polio virus: "Mohammad Asif, aged 40 months with all his limbs affected... was administered oral anti polio vaccine (OPV) four times... The three and a half years old Ameera... had one of her arms and legs paralyzed... Ameera was first of the confirmed cases of polio during the current year."
As one might imagine, Pakistani citizens are beginning to suspect foul play. Dr. Mazhar Khamisani, a manager of the health department in Sindh has noted that he has seen Pakistani parents begin to refuse treatment and do so on repeated occasions. And how could we, when confronted with the facts, ask them to do otherwise?

W każdym razie w skuteczność tej konkretnej szczepionki na polio, którą aktualnie używają w Pakistanie.
Jak widzisz, informacje o niedziałających szczepionkach rozchodzą się bardzo szybko, choćby i miało to miejsce na największym zadupiu. A każdy taki przypadek traktowany jest z należytą powagą.
No właśnie nie bardzo jest z tą należytą powagą, przynajmniej w prowincji nadwiślańskiej. Niezgłaszanie NOP to standard. Traktowanie wątpliwości z buta to standard. Wymuszanie wakcynacji to standard. Naciski sanepidów na medyków o wyrabianie normy za wszelką cenę to norma.
