O samozwańczej grupie hakerskiej Anonymous zaczęło być głośno po tym jak popsuli kilka stron internetowych, m.in. Master Card, Amazon i PayPal. Rzekomo była to zemsta za to że firmy owe uczestniczyły w zablokowaniu kont finansowych portalu WikiLeaks po tym jak rząd USA ogłosił WikiLeaks wrogiem publicznym numer 1.
Potem pisali w mediach, że złapano jakiegoś nastolatka czy dwóch...

Hacker Collective Anonymous To Release Documents Proving Bank Of America Committed Fraud This Monday
After Julian Assange crashed and burned in his threat to release documents that expose fraud at Bank of America, many thought he had been only bluffing, and that BofA is actually clean. Not so fast. A member of the hacker collective Anonymous, which singlehandedly destroyed "hacker defense" firm HB Gary, who goes under the handle OperationLeakS "is claiming to be have emails and documents which prove "fraud" was committed by Bank of America employees, and the group says it'll release them on Monday" reports Gawker. As to the contents of the possible disclosure: ""He Just told me he have GMAC emails showing BoA order to mix loan numbers to not match it's Documents. to foreclose on Americans.. Shame." If indeed this makes the case against BofA' foreclosure practices stronger, it certainly explains why the banking consortium is scrambling to arrange a settlement, and also why Bank of America recently split off its $2 trillion in mortgages into "good bank" and "bad bank" entities.
As a "teaser", the Anonymous member released a November 1, 2010 email between two Balboa Insurance (a BAC subsidiary) employees, which while not proving any fraud, indicates he/she does indeed have access. The timeline on the email makes sense as it is a few weeks prior to the original disclosure that Wikileaks would expose BofA. Perhaps the Assange team merely handed off its materials to Anonymous, which has previously demonstrated its solidarity with the Australian on various occasions.

As you will see below, we believe that the evidence that is supposed to be so damning is a series of emails showing that employees of Balboa asked for certain loan identifying numbers to be deleted, and they were.

Dla mnie wspieranie Wikileaks zapaliło czerwone światełko, dlatego od tamtej pory staram się zwracać uwagę - z czystej ciekawości - co też Anonymous porabiają.

(CNN) -- The Internet hackers group Anonymous plans to hack Iran on Sunday, according to a press release published on their website. The group wants to use International Workers' Day, which commemorates the first national general strike in the United States, as an opportunity to reignite last year's protests in Iran.
Exactly how they intend to "attack" Iran remains to be seen. The sophistication of their previous attacks ranges from the denial-of-service overloading of web servers (this simply knocks a website out) to the exploitation of code and accessing of private data (more like the hacking seen in the movies).
The announcement follows news from the Bahrain News Agency that Iranian hackers had tried to access the Housing Ministry's database regarding those who benefit from the housing services.
The group Anonymous is known for its volunteer association with the perceived underdogs, the side that comes under pressure from the authorities, its statement said, and it views the people of Iran as the next step in the wave of revolutions passing through the Middle East and North Africa.
The attacks are scheduled to start at 5 a.m. GMT (1 a.m. ET) on Sunday

Anonymous Leaks 10,000 E-mails from Iranian Government

Contents of the file remained a mystery, however, until the password was released Thursday.
Iranian government websites, however, have recently been attacked by Anonymous Operations. It is likely the files were provided to them due to their current operation.
Following the Iranian elections and subsequent protests in 2009, Anonymous Operations launched operation “opiran,” in response to the violent crackdown by the Iranian regime. The cyberattacks consist primarily of the DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks Anonymous has come to be known for, which are able to shut down websites by overloading them.

Wow, nie wiedziałem, że to takie proste. Wystarczy żyć na luzie, niczym się nie przejmować, nie interesować i cała ta PiSowsko-Platformerska szajka już nie będzie robiła tego na co ma ochotę. Tylko mam pewien problem z tą teorią, bo tak się składa, że żyję sobie na luzie a rzeczywistość się od tego nie zmienia . Exciting times over here, to say the least! The June 14th Flag Day Rebellion against economic tyranny is growing much stronger and more rapidly than anticipated. As a small part of a decentralized movement, it’s hard to measure the overall impact, but my email inbox is exploding with support and interest. This movement is definitely succeeding in uniting people from all over the political spectrum. Hardcore progressives and libertarians have found common cause. Liberals who are sick of “spineless Democrats.” Conservatives who have had enough of “crony-capitalist and imperial Republicans.” Apolitical people who are sick and tired of living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to get by. The foreclosed upon. The unemployed. People desperately surviving off of food stamps. And especially people who have been impoverished by medical bills. I’ve heard from so many people with horror stories from financial ruin as a result of health problems who are “ready to fight back.” The anger throughout the population is much more intense than even I thought it was.
People who spent their career working on Wall Street are “done sitting idle while the market is rigged in favor of a handful of politically connected global banks and firms.” The people who are taking it upon themselves to take action and spread the word come from all walks of life. Emails have come in from people in the military, veterans, police, firefighters, real estate brokers, lawyers, doctors, nurses, construction workers, accountants, Wall-Mart workers, union members, union haters – they’re all coming together on this. Teachers and students have been strong supporters. College students and recent graduates are feeling completely trapped in debt. Their awareness of their limited opportunities and lack of financial security moving forward is very evident. And, of course, the activists and hacktivists are coming out in force.

Dodano, że od października 2010 roku hiszpańscy policjanci specjalizujący się w zwalczaniu cyberprzestępczości przeanalizowali ponad dwa miliony stron internetowych i wpisów na chatach zanim wreszcie namierzyli trzech podejrzanych.
Według hiszpańskich władz działania przeciwko "Anonymous" prowadziły wcześniej tylko Stany Zjednoczone i Wielka Brytania.
W styczniu brytyjska policja aresztowała pięciu młodych ludzi podejrzanych o udział w cyberatakach organizowanych przez "Anonymous". Grupa opowiedziała się np. po stronie WikiLeaks w konflikcie z rządem USA po ujawnieniu w ubiegłym roku poufnych depesz dyplomatycznych. "Anonymous" wzięli na siebie odpowiedzialność za ataki na strony m.in. takich firm jak Visa, Mastercard czy Paypal, które w wyniku skandalu zerwały swoje powiązania z WikiLeaks.
Grupa zarzuciła koncernom, że pomagają w uciszeniu demaskatorskiego portalu i zebrała armię internautów, którzy udostępnili swoje komputery, by zablokować komunikację z firmowymi serwerami.
W lutym, kiedy w Egipcie trwały antyrządowe demonstracje, "Anonymous" w podobny sposób zaatakowała strony egipskiego ministerstwa informacji i rządzącej partii. Police arrest three suspected 'hacktivists' on charges of attacking the Sony PlayStation Network, banks and businesses.
Spanish police have arrested three suspected members of the so-called Anonymous group on charges of cyber attacks against targets including Sony Corp's PlayStation Network, governments, businesses and banks.
Police on Friday alleged the three arrested 'hacktivists' had been involved in recent attacks on the Japanese electronics manufacturer, Spanish banks BBVA and Bankia and Italian energy group Enel SpA.
The arrests are the first in Spain against members of Anonymous following similar legal proceedings in the US and Britain.
Police said all three men were Spanish and in their 30s. One worked in the merchant navy.
The suspected Anonymous members, who were arrested in Almeria, Barcelona and Alicante, were guilty of co-ordinated computer hacking attacks from a server set up in a house in Gijon in the north of Spain, the Spanish police said.
Sony Playstation hacked
Sony shocked gamers in late April by revealing that hackers had stolen personal information from the accounts of 77 million users of its online video-games network.
A week later, it said hackers had stolen data from another 25 million users of its computer games system.
Sony's PlayStation Network was crippled for a month as the company tried to find and fix the problem.
Anonymous, a loose grouping of activists which has carried out cyber attacks on organisations including Sony in the past, said at the time it was not responsible for those attacks and had no interest in stealing credit-card details.
Its members describe themselves as internet freedom fighters and have previously brought down the websites of the Church of Scientology, Amazon, Mastercard and others they saw as hostile to WikiLeaks.
'Operation Turkey'
The group's current targets include the Turkish government, in a protest against internet censorship.
A string of Turkish government websites have been compromised by members of Anonymous, Turkish authorities said.
Access to Turkey's telecoms authority website, identified as a main target in the group's 'Operation Turkey' campaign against a planned new online filtering system, was blocked as planned at 1500GMT on Thursday.
In a posting on its official website, Anonymous issued a statement pledging to fight what it said was internet censorship there.
The new filtering system, due to be implemented on August 22, mandates that all online users must sign up for one of four filters - domestic, family, children or standard.
The 'hactivist' group said the filtering system would make it possible to keep records of people's internet activity.

Mark Rasch, former head of the US justice department's cyber crimes division, said he would not be surprised if Anonymous turned out to be linked to the Sony data breach given that they had publicly criticised the company over its intellectual property rights.
"It was a logical place to look," he said.
The Spanish police said members of Anonymous, known for wearing Guy Fawkes masks made popular by the graphic novel "V for Vendetta", had also hacked government sites in Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Iran, Chile, Colombia and New Zealand.
"They are structured in independent cells and make thousands of simultaneous attacks using infected 'zombie' computers worldwide. This is why NATO considers them a threat to the military alliance," the police said in a statement.
"They are even capable of collapsing a country's administrative structure." The police did not rule out further arrests.

Exciting times over here, to say the least! The June 14th Flag Day Rebellion against economic tyranny is growing much stronger and more rapidly than anticipated. As a small part of a decentralized movement, it’s hard to measure the overall impact, but my email inbox is exploding with support and interest. This movement is definitely succeeding in uniting people from all over the political spectrum. Hardcore progressives and libertarians have found common cause. Liberals who are sick of “spineless Democrats.” Conservatives who have had enough of “crony-capitalist and imperial Republicans.” Apolitical people who are sick and tired of living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to get by. The foreclosed upon. The unemployed. People desperately surviving off of food stamps. And especially people who have been impoverished by medical bills. I’ve heard from so many people with horror stories from financial ruin as a result of health problems who are “ready to fight back.” The anger throughout the population is much more intense than even I thought it was.
