W kontekscie dociekań związanych z 11 września dość często pojawia się pojęcie "false flag". "False flag" to tajna operacja wykonywana przez okreslone panstwo (najczesciej jest to zamach bombowy), ktorej celem jest obarczenie winą kogoś innego np. wrogiego panstwa, organizacji albo grupy etnicznej. Wiele osob nie jest w stanie uwierzyc w realność tego typu operacji bo po prostu pewne rzeczy nie miesczą sie im w głowach. Najlepiej w takim wypadku podać przykład czegoś dobrze udokumentowanego, czegoś co nie wzbudza wątpliwości. A dalej już działają analogie i umysł uwalnia się od tego "niemieszczenia".
